A few years back I saw a piece at
ArtPrize that took a lot of time and effort to create. I don't really remember the artist's name nor the subject but I do think she/he wrote very tiny text in the pattern of tree rings. Now I've come across
Woodcut by Bryan Nash Gill and it is truly a thing of beauty. If you are a nature lover or just someone who appreciates the beauty that exists in the world, this is a treat. The different species of trees make such different prints--and the ones with the bark still on are fantastic!
